Global warming

Global warming has led to our worsening winter conditions. It never used to snow in Vancouver, and even if it did, the snow melted the next day. The last snowstorm Vancouver had was in 1969. Last year, it wasn't so bad, we had a few days of snow and it gradually melted. BUT this year, we had back-to-back snowy days and snowstorms that created a horrifying driving experience. Many cars were stuck in the snow and the more you rev your engine, your tires are just spinning in ice.... Many people got stuck in their homes because the snow piled up to their doorways. You practically have to shovel your way out!

This year, I enjoyed winter..... because I made up my mind to enjoy winter! No point brooding about a situation you can't change! I felt miserable during last year's winter because I just arrived in Vancouver and it doesn't help feeling cold. But this year, I am GOING to ENJOY it! So I did!!! We had so much fun tobogganing till we were so sore.... We build a small hill of snow at the bottom of our tobogganing strip and it launched us so high up in the air.... **Phew!** Man, that was fun!

MacBook Newbie....

Last night we welcomed a new MacBook in our home. Okay, what am I doing with 3 laptops at home!? One for communicating, one for gaming... and now the MacBook for work. HAHAHAH!

I love the beautiful graphics in the Mac and not to mention the ease of use. I've always heard of the stability and reliability of the Mac so I can't wait to discover it myself now. I am still a newbie to Mac but I am sure that "me and my MacBook were made for each other", as stated in the manual! Okay, I'm off to explore my new toy!

Winter is here...

I can't believe the last post I did was almost a month ago. Time flies by so fast! Been busy in some industry research and gearing up to meet more people from the industry. Can't wait!!

Winter is really here now. The air is cold and dry. The worse thing is that the worse is not here yet.... Out east, they are already having snow storms and few feet of snow. Imagine having to shovel your car out of the piles of snow, scraping off snow from your windscreen and only to get in your cold car... with a freezing cold steering wheel. You blast the heater.. and you see the snow melting.... your wipers cleared the windscreen... now what? Now, you have to drive through the piles of snow in your winter tires (thank God for those tires) to work. Then when you get back from work, you have to shovel out snow from your parking space! And the cycle goes on everyday till winter is over.
